Restoration of road near GPO Lahore begins
Lahore: Restoration of road near the GPO has begun and it will reopen on 31st March, according to a news report. Adviser to Chief Minister Punjab Khawaja Ahmad Hassan visited GPO Chowk and observed the progress of work.
On the occasion, he said that within just 54 days, concrete had been laid on 22 kanals of land for the GPO Station. Similarly, an elevated corridor for the project is also complete and that the completion of elevated corridor consisting of 1474 U-tub girders is important. He also said that from tomorrow (29thMarch) onward, asphalt will be laid and by 31st March, GPO Chowk will be opened.
