Speed up the work on provision of electricity to FDA City: DG FDA

Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Yawar Hussain instructed the authorities concerned to speed up work on provision of electricity to FDA City, stated a news report. He was heading a meeting held to monitor development work in the housing scheme. The FDA Additional Director General Amir Aziz and FDA Chief Engineer Asghar Ali, among others, also attended the meeting.

Matters regarding the immediate provision of electricity, including an agreement between FDA and Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), and installation of utility poles and repair of streetlights in FDA City’s Blocks F1 and F2, came under discussion in the meeting.

DG instructed Aziz and and Ali to speed up the work on setting up of a disposal station near Samana Village and to quickly resolve the matter regarding provision of electricity to commercial plots. He also issued orders to complete the construction of boundary walls in other blocks on an urgent basis.
