Peshawar: The Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) has launched its cleanliness drive on tourist spots, according to a news source. The cleanliness drive was launched after Kalash tribe’s annual festival Chilam Joshi came to an end. The festival was attended by tourists from around the world.
The drive was launched in all three valleys of Kalash, Bareer, Rambor and Bamborait, to keep the tourist spots clean. The cleanliness drive was attended by large number of local students and the local residents appreciated the drive.
To provide better facilities to the tourists, TCKP had also established a tent village in valley of Bamborait and tourists availed of the facilities in large numbers.
