Karachi: The Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) has inaugurated a water filtration plant in DHA Phase-IV, according to a news report. The Cantonment Board Clifton Vice President (VP) Aziz Suharwardy along with various dignitaries, inaugurated this plant.
Speaking at the occasion, Suharwardy said the plant has been constructed to provide safer drinking water to the residents of CBC. He also added that for more filtration plants, the interested CBC residents can write an application to the department after having agreed to an area, supported with signatures. He added that water filtration plants are extremely important because of acute water scarcity in the city.
