Rawalpindi: A large number of tourists are visiting Murree and adjoining areas, according to a news report. The traffic police has been focussed on tackling and managing the flow of traffic to avoid blockades.
The Eid holidays were a welcomed opportunity for the people to visit the hilly tourist sites in Murree including Patriata, Kashmir Point, Mall Road, Ayubia and New Murree. Owing to a large number of cars, the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Managing Director Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor had said that the corporation has started analyzing the ratio of tourists visiting the resorts at the start of summer season so that comparisons in the number of tourists visiting in the previous years could be drawn.
