Multan: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has decided to prepare a list of hoardings and billboards in all parts of the city, reported a news source. The decision has been taken in the backdrop of collecting publicity fee for outdoor marketing carried out from the land owned by the district government.
Earlier, the PHA launched a drive against illegal billboards in the city. Now, to make a list of existing billboards, the authority has formed a special team that will not just put down the names of marketers, but also take pictures as further proof.
The team is instructed to also inform about if the boards are being set up on the land owned by the government or some private entity.
