Multan: The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Managing Director (MD) Mushtaq Ahmad Khan has stated that a special plan has been prepared for the monsoon season, a news source reported. According to the plan, vacations of staff and officials have been cancelled, and an emergency imposed within the agency.
When the rains begin, WASA staff and machinery will be on the road. Disposal stations are being monitored, and all the stations are functional. All de-watering pumps and flasher machinery is 100% functional. Trunk sewerage lines are being cleaned quickly. Moreover, special measures are being deliberated to increase funding to provide better facilities to the citizens.
