DHA has retained its spot as the top rental locality in Lahore all through the past year, and according to Zameen.com data, it has been so overwhelmingly popular over the year that no other locality comes even close. Johar Town and Bahria Town still remain much behind DHA, scoring less than half on the popularity index.
Johar Town and Bahria Town have retained their ranks from the previous month, and this is the fifth month in a row that Johar Town has remained on the second position now. Phase II and the surroundings of Emporium, according to Shafqat Real Estate & Builders CEO, Muhammad Anwar Shafqat, remain the second most popular area to rent. He explained that Emporium, other malls, and plazas in the nearby area present a wide array of job opportunities. People from other cities who arrive for these jobs prefer living nearby.
Gulberg and Askari continued their exchange of spots this month as well. Askari took the fourth spot this month, while Gulberg moved down to the fifth. Meanwhile, Cantt and Model Town did the same on the next two spots. Wapda Town and Allama Iqbal Town, however, retained their ranks from the previous month. Eden Housing, which includes Eden City, Eden Gardens, and Eden Value Homes, among a range of other projects by Eden Housing, has been almost a constant at the tenth spot for the past year. However, this month it has gone down one spot and its place taken by Garden Town. The last time this happened was in March of this year.
