Lahore: To tackle the issues of increasing traffic on Canal Road and Southern Bypass, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to make Abdul Haq Road signal free by adding three U-turns, a news source reported. The project’s estimated cost is PKR 375 million.
Under the project, rainwater drainage systems will also be made on both sides of the road, and road-safety equipment and LED lights will be installed on the road. The road will also be landscaped from Johar Town Expo Center to Doctor Hospital Chowk.
Popular brands have established businesses on both sides of Abdul Haq Road and after Emporium Mall was made, the pressure of traffic on the road increased even further. This project will reduce the traffic issues.
