Gujranwala: Amended budget worth PKR 455.3 million has been approved for Parks and Horticultural Authority (PHA) Gujranwala, according to a news report. The amended budget has been approved after increasing expenditure by PKR by 131 million and decreasing the income by PKR 63 million.
PHA Gujranwala had proposed a budget of PKR 387.5 million for the current fiscal year 2017-18. The development expenditure in the budget amounted to be PKR 73.6 million, while the amount allocated for the non-developmental expenditure amounted to PKR 250.5 million.
PKR 8 million was allocated for the purchase of flowers and seeds, while PKR 10 million was allocated for the purchase of plants. PKR 3.5 million was allocated for fertilizers and pesticides, PKR 3 million for electricity, and PKR 2 million for civil works. The PHA Head office to be constructed Gulshan Iqbal Park has assigned PKR 15 million.
