Commercial use of residential plots will result in fine: DG KDA

Karachi: The Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Director General Samiuddin Siddiqui stated that the commercial use of residential plots will result in fines, a news source reported. He explained that making hotels, schools, tuition centres and beauty parlours on residential plots goes against allotment conditions. The fines collected will be used for development work in various uplift schemes.
According to details, he was chairing an important meeting of KDA. He asked the staff to present him with details reports on a number of projects under KDA. He also stated that his efforts were to bring a few development projects directly under the supervision of KDA.
