Multan: Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Secretary has instructed government offices to bring energy usage to minimal levels, a news source reported. An official letter instructed all the top officials to reduce the usage of electricity in their respective offices.
The letter instructs the officials to make maximum use of sunlight between 8 AM and 4 PM. Tube lights and bulbs have also been banned and will be replaced with energy savers and LED lights. They have also been instructed to have their offices whitewashed to utilize the maximum amount of light. Other instructions include using air conditioners only after 11 am and keeping the temperature at 26 degrees.
