Karachi: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) directed an accountability court on 23rd May 2018 to take action against two fake builders, according to a news report. The two builders have been jailed for seven years and have been fined PKR 20 million each.
The fraudulent builders had taken millions of rupees from citizens in the name of a fake scheme called Goth Abad Scheme, and cheated people in the name of lands in District West, when no such housing scheme existed.
The NAB reference has added that the two builders were looting poor citizens and also causing a great financial loss to the national exchequer.
