Islamabad: The Federal Government has released PKR 659 billion for upcoming development projects, according to a news report. For the fiscal year 2018-2019, PKR 100 billion will be allocated for this purpose. The following allocations have been made:
PKR 7 billion for Housing & Works
PKR 2 billion for Ordinance production
PKR 780 million for Climate Change
PKR 470 million for Petroleum and natural resources
PKR 40 billion for Wapda
PKR 12 billion under Energy for All
PKR 19 billion for Railways
PKR 10 billion for Development programs
PKR 1 billion for Ports & Shipping
PKR 30 billion for Prime Minister’s SDGs Program
During the same briefing, funds were allocated for various other departments such as clean drinking water for all, skills development, health services regulation, and coordination etc.
