Multan: Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has decided to take action against substandard billboards in the city, a news source reported. Speaking on the matter, the PHA Assistant Director Marketing Hafiz Muhammad Usman stated that, under the directions of PHA director general, strict action will be taken against companies that don’t submit structure certificate.
The certificate so submitted will be further verified from the engineering company and action will be taken against companies that submit fake certificates. Notices will be sent to such companies and opportunity will be given to explain before action is taken against them.
The Marketing Branch’s survey team is surveying old and dilapidated billboards on a daily basis. The companies found involved in forging certificates will be sent pictorial evidence along with the notices.
