Sindh allocates funds for infrastructural development

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the Sindh budget 2018-2019 with considerable funds allocated for infrastructural development, according to a news report. The Sindh Government will be seeking help from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for a number of these projects under its Annual Development Program (ADP).

The Sindh government has undertaken the Sindh Provincial Road Improvement Project with the assistance of the ADB for improvement of 328 km long roads in different districts which will connect with highways. This also includes a 44 km long road from Thull to Kadhkot, a 36 km long road from Saharanpur to Ratodero, a 64 km road from Khyber to Sanghar via Tando Adam, a 63 km road from Sanghar to Mirpurkhas via Sindhri, a 66 km road from Tando Muhammad Khan to Badin, and a 55 km road from Digri to Naukot.
