Gujranwala: Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) has given a deadline of June 30 to its staff for the recovery of PKR 1.5 billion from its 260,000 defaulters, according to a news report. The defaulters include public departments and private individuals.
The staff has also warned that action will be taken against them if they fail to meet the target. Meanwhile, connections of those who fail to pay the dues will be disconnected. The majority of defaulters includes 190,000 domestic consumers.
