Quetta: Various areas in Balochistan are expected to get solar power supply by July, according to a news report. Minister for State and Frontier Regions Lt. General (retd) Abdul Qadir Baloch has said that solar power would be provided in Mashkel, Kharan, and other areas by July. He was speaking at inauguration ceremony held for Yakmach-Kharan Road.
Present at the occasion were Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Federal Minister Hasil Khan Bizenjo, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, and the National Highway Authority Chairman Jawad Malik amongst other dignitaries. Tribal leaders from the province also attended the ceremony. Malik briefed Abbasi about Kharan-Yakmach Highway.
Talking about Kharan Cadet College, Baloch said that the facility will be completed soon at a cost of PKR 1.32 billion for improving the quality of education given to the people of Balochistan.
