Pakistan, Iran to increase tourism

Rawalpindi: Pakistan and Iran have agreed to increase tourism between the two countries, according to a news report. The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Managing Director Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor met with Khorasan Governor Dr. Ali Raza Rasheedian during the fifth day of the official Iranian visit to the discuss the prospects of increased tourism between the two countries.
According to Ghafoor, both countries have managed to defeat any negative perceptions that they’ve had about each other and agreed to restore the train and ferry service. Ghafoor also added that with the construction of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a lot of investment opportunities for investing in tourism has been created and that the Iranian investors have been welcomed to consider investing in the area.
Rasheedian highlighted the improved relations between Pakistan and Iran, and said that tourism opportunities and educational incentives would be further increased.
