Multan: The Punjab Government has approved PKR 4 billion for 2 urban development schemes in Multan, according to a news report. The provincial Planning and Development Department had earlier approved the projects.
Out of the PKR 4 billion, PKR 2.16 billion has been approved for the second phase of renovation and improvement of sewerage, while the other PKR 2 billion has been approved for transfer of a disposal station from Chungi Number 9 to Southern Bypass.
The funds for these projects will be released in installments and the first installment of PKR 2 million will be given to WASA Multan in July.
