Rawalpindi: The department of Excise & Taxation (E&T) continued its operation against tax defaulters, according to a news source. The action included arresting defaulters and sealing their properties.
According to details, 15 tax defaulters were arrested and released only after payments. Similarly more than 90 properties of tax defaulters have been sealed. PKR 3 million was recovered as a result. The E&T Director instructed the staff to continue indiscriminate action against the defaulters throughout the remaining days before the fiscal year ends.
