Multan: Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) picked up a total of 2,100 tonnes of waste and 600 tonnes of building rubble, a news source reported. During the three holidays, from 15th to 18thJune, MWMC transferred the waste from 68 Union Councils (UCs) of Multan to mauza Bua Pur.
In three days, 734 tonnes of waste was transferred from Ali Chowk Transfer Station, other places included 540 tonnes from Sabzi Mandi, 324 tonnes from Shaheen Market, 260 tonnes from Al-Jilan Market, 445 tonnes from Kari Jamandan, and 230 tonnes from Jillani Road were transferred to Bua Pur.
