Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) officials have been told to take action against illegal housing societies by the RDA Director General Rana Akbar Hayat, according to a news report. Hayat has directed all officers to make all out efforts and provide relief to the general public because of this rising problem.
Hayat has also said that the citizens should be informed about the Building and Zoning Regulations and illegal housing schemes. Details of all illegal private and cooperative housing societies in Rawalpindi are also asked to be uploaded on the RDA’s official website by the DG.
